Using LinkedIn for Business

Updated: Sep 22, 2022

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that last year I did a series on LinkedIn.

This month, we are revisiting those tips. With the pandemic changing the way the world does business, with the Great Resignation, and with Facebook being less useful for businesses (unless you pay and post); using LinkedIn effectively has become more important than ever.

These posts from my blog cover quite a bit of material regarding LinkedIn.

If you don’t have the time or desire to read all the blogs, here are a few of my top tips in the Cliff Notes version for LinkedIn.

  1. Business only. No memes and jokes.

  2. Post at least 2x week. Do not post daily or more than once a day unless you REALLY have something to say.

  3. Make sure to use a professional photo. (IE, not you on the beach at your bachelor party.)

  4. If you join a group, contribute. Do not START a group unless you are very committed timewise.

  5. Make sure to know all the options available to you regarding content marketing on LinkedIn.

If you have any additional questions not answered above or if you need some help getting your LinkedIn up to par, give us a call. We’re happy to assist.

See you on the web!
